Hotmail
Hotmail, officially Microsoft Hotmail, previously Windows Live Hotmail and MSN Hotmail is a free web-based email service operated by Microsoft as part of Windows Live.
The first web-based email service was founded by Sabber Bhatia and Jack Smith, they started in July 1996 as HoTMaiL. Microsoft acquired it in 1997 for 400 million dollar. After that it was rebranded as MSN Hotmail. In Hotmail there is an unlimited storage feature, that means that you can store unlimited mail. You don’t need to delete to get new mails. Hotmail is the largest web based email service with 324 million members (2007), I got this from Wikipedia. After Hotmail Gmail and Yahho! Mail is the biggest free Web-based email service after Hotmail, Gmail and YAHOO! . It is according to (comScore.com) that Hotmail is the biggest free web-based service. On Hotmail you can send free mails to everyone that you have added on your Hotmail list. You can also chat with anyone that you have as a friend on Hotmail.

From the start Hotmail was developed from Mountain Veiw, California, and when Hotmail was an independent company there headquarters was in Sunnyvale. Outlook.com is a new service that where announced on July 31, 2012. I think the relaunch Hotmail just because it was getting very old and they wanted to do something more new.

Figure 4
Figure 4 shows how it looks when you have created un account. This picture shows your inbox and all your received mails from whoever that have sent it to you.
Advertising in Hotmail experience anyways is very disturbing. Admittedly, when you look that the ad on the right side of your Hotmail inbox some advertise comes up. You can take it away, but what’s good when the ad comes up the next time you go to the Hotmail inbox again? And when you open or write an email in Hotmail, you get both a great ad to the right of the message but also a few text ads at the bottom of the message, and how nice does it look? Not so good.

Figure 5
Figure 5 shows the example that I meant, it is a very disturbing thing.
The ads in Hotmail also feels much more disturbing because it is almost just flash ads, unlike the ads in Gmail, which are only a few text ads that are right in your Gmail. Additionally, you see only text ads when you have an email open in the browser. One big problem with Hotmail is that the low safety, many accounts have been hacked and there is nothing you can do about it.
