Civil Rights
Many people at this time are very interested how their own country’s politics is doing or any other country´s politic. At this time when many people in politics use the internet to reach to people so they can see what they want to say and what they think. On way that the informational age has changed is the current constitutional rights; it is the method when you are voting. The old method was when you wrote down what you wanted to write down on the voting sheet and left it to the collectors and they wound count them manually. At this time some countries are using the computer to collect the votes. This way is less time consuming and the costs are less. The votes are collected and safety protected on a server. The problems could be that someone can hack in to the server and mess up the votes. One good thing can be that human errors are not possible when the computer is counting the votes. But you really never know if you can trust a computer. The governments have their own sides that all people with internet access are able to access and on the sides they can find information or other things that is written on the pages. For thirty years ago you weren’t able to find information that easy, if you wanted to find information you had to go find it in written books or go to the government place and get the information at that place. Today it might take five to ten minutes to find information if you have use the internet. You can also pay taxes online that you could not do for thirty years ago. For thirty years ago you had to go to a special place to pay your taxes. The information age in government and politics has been a very positive period for the different parties and governments and another example of that is when a country if we for example take USA have their elections the different parties are trying to reach to the people by using the internet to give out information, or live streaming debates.
